The Jewel of Pembrokeshire
Tenby is a picturesque seaside town on the southwest coast of Pembrokeshire, known for its colourful harbour, sandy beaches, and medieval town walls. It sits within Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, making it a popular destination for coastal walks, wildlife spotting, and scenic views.
Historically, Tenby was a fortified town dating back to the 13th century, and parts of its stone walls and gates still stand today. The town is also a gateway to Caldey Island, home to a community of Cistercian monks.
Today, Tenby is a lively tourist spot, especially in summer, offering beaches, boat trips, cafes, and a charming mix of history and seaside atmosphere.

I found this hotel to be superb. I was actually staying next door and using this hotel for my evening meals. Due to a number of issues with the first establishment I felt I had no option but to move. The staff at the Heywood Spa were professional but kind, accommodating to my predicament and made my final night in Tenby one to remember. The room was excellent, spa very relaxing and the restaurant a highlight. All staff were excellent. My few days in Tenby were booked to relax after a difficult few months and I did arrive very stressed. The calm atmosphere at the Heywood transformed a break that wasn't going quite to plan. Thank you everyone at the hotel.

We had a wonderful experience at The Heywood Spa Hotel. The food was absolutely amazing—beautifully presented, full of flavour, and clearly prepared with great care. The service was equally impressive; every member of staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish.
The atmosphere was relaxing and luxurious, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a special meal. We couldn’t fault a thing and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!
