The Jewel of Pembrokeshire
Tenby is a picturesque seaside town on the southwest coast of Pembrokeshire, known for its colourful harbour, sandy beaches, and medieval town walls. It sits within Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, making it a popular destination for coastal walks, wildlife spotting, and scenic views.
Historically, Tenby was a fortified town dating back to the 13th century, and parts of its stone walls and gates still stand today. The town is also a gateway to Caldey Island, home to a community of Cistercian monks.
Today, Tenby is a lively tourist spot, especially in summer, offering beaches, boat trips, cafes, and a charming mix of history and seaside atmosphere.
