When can I check-in?

3pm. Should you room be ready prior to this time we will certainly allow you to access your room but we cannot guarantee this. We will prepare it for you as soon as it is free, with the utmost care for perfect cleaning and a organization of the room.

What time is check-out?

11am. Upon request, and subject to availability, it could be possible to use the room for an extended period. This option must be expressly agreed with the reception and will involve an additional £25.00 late check-out fee.

 
Where can I park my car?

We know that parking is the last thing you want to be worrying about on your holiday - so rest assured, Heywood Spa is home to a large car park with enough room to fit all of our guests. This service is complimentary to guests that book direct with us. For guests booking through a third party such as Expedia or Booking.com a £5 per night per vehicle is chargeable. There is no need to pre-book.

Is the use of the leisure suite complimentary? 

Absolutely. Hotel guests have access to our indoor heated pool, hot tubs and relaxation area entirely free of charge. Sessions are bookable on the hour between 7am and 7pm each day to limit the amount of guests in the facility at one time. Non-residents are also welcome when you purchase a day pass (for more information, click here).

What are the opening times for the leisure suite?

7am - 8pm. However we do reserve the right to close the facilities at any time if required. It is a public pool after all - so keeping it clean and safe for all guests is essential.

How many rooms do you have?

We have 24 bedrooms in total. These are spread across our ground floor and first floor level.

Can I bring my dog?

We do not allow dogs or other pets at the hotel. If you require a guide dog, please do let us know prior to arrival so we can allocate a suitable or table room for you.

Is breakfast included?

Yes - if you book a Bed and Breakfast rate. When you book a Room Only rate directly through us or via third-party booking sites such as Booking.com or Expedia, you will be charged. Click here to see the menu. Breakfast is served between 8am-10am each day. 

Do you have a lift?

No. But if you have mobility issues, please let us know in advance so that we can allocate you a ground floor room. Our Full Accessibility Statement can be found by clicking here.

Do your rooms have baths or showers?

A mixture of both - so if you have a preference, please let us know. On the whole, all ground floor rooms have walk-in showers and upper floor rooms have a bath and shower.

When do I have to pay for the accommodation?

If you have booked direct on a flexible rate - we will take full payment 3 days before you arrive*. You will also have free cancellation of your booking until this date. When booking a promotional rate or Room Only direct with us the terms are likely to be full prepayment at the time of booking. These rates are non refundable and non transferrable. If you have booked through a third-party booking site such as Booking.com or Expedia, you may have less flexibility, e.g. non-refundable bookings require payment to be taken on the day of booking.

*For large groups, we may require a 50% non-refundable deposit. 

Can I add an extra bed/cot for my child?

In most cases, yes. But we will need to know in advance to ensure we can allocate you a room big enough. These are hireable from £25 per night for an extra bed and £50 for a sofa bed plus breakfast charged according to the age of the child. Alternatively, we would recommend booking a Family room. Should you arrive at the hotel with a child and this has not been previously informed, we may have to decline the reservation so please do ensure that we are aware prior to arrival.
